Introducing Ka-Bu tiles – an exceptional creation born from the artisanal expertise of a family-owned Atelier nestled in the heart of Gifu, Japan’s ceramics district. This bespoke collection has been specially commissioned, embodying the mastery of traditional Japanese craftsmanship while introducing a contemporary, refined touch.
What makes Ka-Bu tiles so special is their vertical ribbed design, which creates stunning texture and depth on any surface. Each rib catches light in a unique way, adding a subtle but dramatic effect, making spaces feel larger and more dynamic. The tactile experience is as luxurious as the visual, with the slightly raised surfaces providing an architectural, sculpted look.
The collection features three sophisticated colorways, but the standout is undoubtedly Ibushi Black, which boasts an elegant carbon sheen that adds a sense of richness and opulence to any space. The black tone shifts depending on the light, revealing an interplay of matte and subtle sheen, which must be seen in person to be fully appreciated. This dynamic finish gives the tiles a timeless appeal—making them perfect for both modern, minimalist spaces and more traditional, atmospheric interiors.
Each tile is meticulously crafted, echoing the dedication and skill honed over generations in Gifu. This collection not only provides exceptional beauty but also reflects the precision and passion that go into every piece. Ka-Bu is ideal for creating statement walls or elegant bathroom finishes, and its versatility shines in both residential and commercial settings.
This is more than a tile—it’s a piece of artisanal history with a modern twist. Experience the difference only the Ka-Bu collection can bring to your space.
